Abstract
Compared with large enterprises, SMEs as an important force in the national economy also need knowledge management (KM). In this paper, in the process of the implementation of KM for SMEs, we introduce the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) as a tool, and implement the KM under the guidance of the BSC framework. The functions of the BSC on the KM are mainly: to decompose the objectives of KM, to guide the process of KM, to measure the performance of KM, and the article discusses mainly from the three aspects.
