With the global economic integration, China´s private enterprises have been playing a significant role in the market economy. The performance of the production line workers in the private enterprise is related directly to the advance of the organizational performance. However, the existing performance evaluation indicators are generally less related to the organizational goal. It is difficult for private enterprises to establish the perfect performance evaluation system of the production line workers in a systematic way. This paper starts from the relationship between performance evaluation and SHRM, and clarifies the definition and element of strategic human resources management. Then it identifies the factors affecting the employees´ performance in the perspective of strategic human resource management (SHRM). Through spot investigation, it builds an indicator system of evaluating performance of the production line workers, which contains the factors of measuring the employee awareness of the organization´s strategy, and uses AHP to determine the indicator weight. Finally, this paper makes an empirical study on the performance of GY Company´s production line workers and also obtains their performances, which provides a basis to establish the relevant measures for the enterprises with the different types of employees.
