Abstract :
With the aim of achieving high-speed track following for high-data-rate optical recording, we have investigated a control system that combines conventional feedback control with feed-forward control based on the zero phase error tracking method. In this study, we used a large-capacity, narrow-track-pitch disk medium, and demonstrated that the proposed tracking servo system is effective for high-speed rotation of narrow-track-pitch media.
