Abstract
A new iterative feedback/feedforward tuning (IFFT) method is presented that relies on efficient computation of the negative gradient of the controller cost function using one experiment per iteration. Apart from the reduced number of experiments, relative to other IFT methods, the new method has the added advantage of its suitability for enhanced disturbance rejection tuning in the frequency domain. The primary target application area of the presented method is self-tuning feedback control in active vibration and noise control (AVNC).
