  • Abstract
    Tea is characterized by its wide place of production and complicated produce environment. As a result, it is hard to evaluate the quality of the tea. However, consumers are paying more and more attention to the quality of tea and expect to know, for example, where tea was planted, manufactured, stored, transported, and in which store the tea was sold. This research tries to implement a management system on this subject, by implementing modern information technology system to manage the tea manufacturing industry. Generally, the system design currently uses B/S and C/S combination model. Setup using the ArcIMS/ ArcSDE/ WEBGIS to a complete Tea QS Trace System that we can view and manage the GIS data. The system is running now in Ningbo and is allowing the local producers to take the lead of the whole country. The research establishing the local standard of “Ningbo Tea manufacturers coding system” and improving the management level of the tea industry system. This helps to achieve the management of the local Ningbo Tea from “Tea field into final Tea cup”.
