  • Abstract
    This paper presents the computational results of studies on the flow characteristics of V-U and U-U notch. To simulate the flow features, three-dimensional models are developed as commercially available fluid flow models. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is then used to analyze the flow features of throttle notches of valves. Numerically simulated the flow features of flow rates, discharge coefficients, efflux angles, flow forces under different operating conditions, and analyzed the effects of shapes and numbers of notches on them. Now, most construction machinery in different conditions need execute different actions.
