Empirical Study on Evaluation of the Development Level of Services in Hubei´s Major Cities

This paper uses factor analysis and nine indicators to analyze the development level of services in Hubei´s major cities. The result shows that there is a big gap among different cities of Hubei. The cities of Hubei can be divided into three groups. The first group includes Wuhan, which development level of services is far ahead of other cities. The second group includes Huangshi, Shiyan, Xiangfan, which development level of services is relatively high. The third group is Jingmen, Yichang, Huanggang, Suizhou, Jingzhou, Xianning, Ezhou, Xiaogan, which development level of services is low.
