Abstract :
This paper introduced a corresponding iterative decoding scheme at base station and a bitwise interleaver at the user station and relay to reduce the impact of interference and fading on the network coded cooperation in the uplink multiple-access relay systems. The authors compare the experimental performance of MARC (multiple-access relay channel) network coding over Rayleigh fading channel. The bit-error-rate (BER) performance comparisons of network coded relay scheme based on iterative decoding are shown using different mapping schemes and various channel coding methods. To facilitate comparison, Extrinsic Information Transfer (EXIT) chart is used to indicate and predict the convergence behavior of the system.
