Abstract :
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has released 7.5 GHz of bandwidth for ultra wideband (UWB) radiation. In this paper a simple method of generating a pulse that matches the spectrum mask is proposed. By mixing two sinusoidal waveforms nearly the same fractional energy is within the FCC mask as of a derivated Gaussian pulse.
