  • Abstract
This paper presents a wavelet based signal de-noising for induction motor drives. The scheme considers the way in which a signal from receivers or sensors (induction machine) is processed and used to de-noise the signal. The scheme are illustrated through an application that processes raw signals (speed, torque, phase-current and rotor flux) of an induction motor drive. The results shows that the wavelet based denoising scheme results in more noise reduction. The scheme generates a clean and useful induction machine signals (speed, torque, phase-current and rotor flux). The simulation results are presented for three-phase and five-phase induction motor drives.
