Abstract :
Aiming at the issue of slow operating speed, low real-time character and unsuitability on looking for the source of the harmonic which is the traditional power quality monitor system based on single chip Microprocessor (SCM), this paper designs a new one based on DSP. Analyzing from the hardware and software designed, it present the principle of clamp type Hall sensor and adopts the improved fast Fourier transform (FFT) as its main processing algorithm. The power quality monitoring system of harmonic is cabinet, convenient and user-friendly. The experiment results prove that this system can perform real-time accurate measuring of up to twenty-fifth harmonic wave´s frequency and amplitude in the case of no disconnecting circuit. Therefore this system has high practical value.
