Abstract
This paper reports the observation of femtosecond second harmonic generation (SHG) in unpoled SBN crystal with random ferroelectric domains. Both planar and conical emission geometries are studied using a non-amplified femtosecond pulse laser source. Efficiency of the SHG process and its spectral properties are also analyzed.
