Abstract :
The operation of cw seeded 2-stage noncollinear optical parametric amplifiers (NOPAs) with a 150 fs Ti:sapphire pump source and a 10 ps Nd:VAN system is reported. A white light seeded NOPA was investigated for comparison. The parametric super-fluorescence generator seeded NOPA was also studied. The spectral distribution of the single shot output NOPAs seeded by cw, white light and optical parametric generator (OPG) are compared. The vacuum fluctuations in NOPAs using the three different seeds are also studied.
