Abstract :
This paper suggets wide-band short-slot eight-port hybrids with very simple structure. The analysis is performed on the basis of a multimode equivalent circuit model. By optimizing the circuit configurations, for example, fractional bandwidth of 25.0% can be obtained for the proposed eight-port hybrids. Validity of the design results is confirmed by em-simulation.
