Abstract :
Data fusion is the technology that synthesizes various academic subjects and can process data comprehensively; particularly in the field of multi-sensor array it can make full use of the limited data resources. Spatial spectrum estimation technology plays an important role in the field of array signal processing. Because of its high resolution and high accuracy, it has wide applications and prospects in array processing, such as radar, sonar and so on. Firstly this paper studies the basic principles of four kinds of typical algorithms used for direction estimation in spatial spectrum estimation and then analyzes their specifications through simulation. Based on the characteristics of multi-sensor data fusion, spatial spectrum estimation technology and data fusion technology are joined. According to the least square weighted fusion method, the results of the four typical algorithms are fused and higher resolution and better performance of DOA estimation are obtained.
