Abstract
The use of multiple antenna arrays in both transmission and reception promises huge increases in the throughput of wireless communication systems. A method for ergodic MIMO channel capacity estimation in the more general case is presented. The method provides the possibility for the MIMO channel capacity estimation in the presence of mutual coupling signals and spatially correlated noise at the receive antenna elements. Therefore, the information MIMO channel capacity is estimated in a more realistic environment.
