  • Abstract
    Compound semiconductor-based ultrafast optoelectronic devices being developed for optical transmission and processing systems beyond 100 Gb/s are reviewed. They include all-optical switches based on quantum well intersubband transition and absorption/gain recovery in quantum dots.
