Abstract :
In the paper, the principle of CRLH-TLs is introduced and the method of calculating the parameters of LH-TL parts on phase π/2 and - π/2 is analyzed. The approach to calculate the parameters of a coupler with arbitrary coupling is brought. Also, the paper designs a dual-band composite right/left-handed transmission lines directional coupler with a coupling of 10dB on 0.9GHz and 15dB on 0.8GHz. Through the simulations and the measurements, the coupler is verified to be with required performance and high engineering application value.
