Abstract :
The paper introduced here illustrates a technique which has been especially designed to deal with a page containing slanted Arabic handwritten text-lines and shows the way we suggest to deslant it. A reliable slant correction algorithm based on using combination of both projection profile technique and the Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD )are incorporated and used for this purpose.
