This article analyzes the interactive relations of the development of information communication technology (ICT) and the development of regional economic from the regional economic developmental strategy, the regional industrial policy, the demand and the supply as well as information communication based on the review and summation of Related literatures which are about the function of integration, regional economic integration and ICT industry in promoting the regional economic integration process, and discusses the opportunities of Yangtse River Delta regional economic integration to take to the ICT industry from various aspects such as the production elements market and the product market, the industrial structure and the industrial layout, the infrastructure and the environmental protection, the urban system and the urban setting, the economic movement and the management mechanism as well as the system skeleton and policy measures.
