Abstract
The pelvis plays an important balance role during the human walking upright. The paper illustrates a new method of measuring the pelvis four-freedom trajectories. Three transitional movements in medial -lateral, fore-after and up-down directions and one rotary movement around vertical axis are measured. This method is analyzed in theory. The experimental platform is developed, which is based on a treadmill. The experimental findings are collected including the four-freedom trajectories of the pelvis. The motion characters of the pelvis for normal human are concluded finally.
