Abstract :
We discuss the inverse problem of reconstructing a scattering object with a size in the order of a wavelength, in a two-media background. Both the transmitters and receivers are located in an upper medium while the scatterer is located in a lower medium. To solve this problem we use two-dimensional time-domain integral equations. Specifically we show the effects of time-windowing in a time-domain inversion method.
