Abstract :
In order to study the influence of various design parameters of the Screw Die to the flow channel and extrusion uniformity, FEA (finite element analysis) was made by parametric modeling, parametric loading and solving, as well as parametric post-processing method. APDL (ANSYS parametric design language) and VISUAL C++ language were used to replace the work of ANSYS pre-processing function. Special finite element pre-processing programs and loaded macros were developed, which could call ANSYS to simulate and analyze the three-dimensional finite element model of Screw Die flow channel. Parametric FEA technology of Screw Die was achieved in the whole process of CAE simulation, which greatly improved the efficiency and reduced the analysis costs. The parametric analysis process is very conducive to the improvement of design parameters, and can optimize design and economize cost.
