Abstract :
An encoder and a correlator receiver for balanced Kronecker sequences are proposed for use in non-coherent optical fibre sequence inversion keyed (SIK) DS-CDMA LANs. The equation of the SNR at the output of the receiver is formulated. The receiver BER performance is evaluated as a function of the incident optical power for different balanced Kronecker sequences. We show that large sets of Kronecker sequences can be employed to achieve a good BER performance
