Abstract :
Analysis of a cubical cavity loaded concentrically with cubical dielectric resonator is conducted using the commercially available transmission-line matrix (TLM) software. From these computed resonant frequencies, a mode chart for the first 5 degenerate groups of resonant modes is generated. As an application, a triple-mode single cavity filter is designed and implemented using the TM111 degeneracy from this chart. Close agreement between the simulated and measured performance of the filter is obtained.
