Abstract :
In the process of reform and opening up toward transformation of economic system, adaptation to informationization and economic globalization, low-tech manufacturing industry (LTMI) is an important driving force of China´s economic development. However, most researches in China now focus on high-tech industry (HTI) and therefore relevant research findings on low-tech industry (LTI) are deficient. Based on innovation theory and DEA method, this paper gives an all-around horizontal evaluation on the efficiency of technological innovation in Chinese low-tech manufacturing industry. This is of certain theoretical value and practical significance to the guidance for further development of different technology industries in manufacturing industry in China and to the formulation of relevant policies.
