  • Abstract
    For transmitting a digital video signal based on MPEG2, several digital modulation techniques such as QAM, VSB, and OFDM, which have good bandwidth efficiency, are being researched. The system discussed here includes one channel of a QAM signal which is frequency multiplexed with 60 channels of VSB-AM signals. It can provide digital video services over existing networks like the coaxial cable network and AM/FM optical fiber network. The interference between QAM and VSB-AM is discussed
