Abstract :
A small wideband antenna for circular polarization composed of two crossed elliptical patch dipoles backed by a textured reflector is reported. The computed bandwidth of antenna is shown to be ~100%, angular range is 360° in azimuth and average ± 60° in elevation plane with axial ratio less than 3dB. The average gain of antenna is 7dBi at boresight and antenna radiation efficiency is 99%.
