Abstract :
The Advanced Light Source (ALS), now under construction at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, is a third-generation synchrotron radiation source designed to produce extremely bright photon beams in the ultraviolet and soft X-ray regions. The lattice magnets to be installed in the two rings, a 1-1.9-GeV storage ring and 1.5-GeV booster synchrotron, have been magnetically measured to ascertain their excitation curves and field uniformity. The analysis of these data is discussed, and results for measured magnets are given.<>
