Abstract :
Inter-domain management is a hot topic with regard to the ever-increasing importance of the Internet. Different service providers co-operate in order to supply end-to-end services for customers. This co-operation must be controlled by a co-operative network, system, service and application management. There are several standards dealing with single aspects of inter-domain management. However, a globally applicable specification technique has not been standardized yet, and thus, these standards remain mostly incomparable. Therefore, this paper introduces a compact and easy-to-handle modelling technique for inter-domain management to be used to illustrate, specify and compare processes of inter-domain management
