Abstract
This study shows the characterization of high-dimensional chaos in single-mode laser diodes with optical feedback. The Lang-Kobayashi equations are used to describe the prototypical model of single-mode semiconductor lasers subject to coherent optical feedback. The dependence of chaos characteristics on the feedback parameters such as feedback strength, delay time, and laser pump current is also analyzed.
