Abstract :
The investigation of new channel models plays a fundamental role for designing and evaluating wireless communication systems. Therefore an extensive analysis of channel measurement data is indispensable. Besides the knowledge of the parameters and their distribution functions, the distance where the parameters are getting uncorrelated is of great interest and can be exploited for more realistic channel simulations. In this contribution the de-correlation distance of the large scale parameters (LSP) in the power and delay domain is investigated. Different parameter estimation procedures are applied taking the changing automatic gain control (AGC) level within one MIMO snapshot into account. The AGC level changes strongly depending on the channel environment and due to the spatial filtering of the directional antennas. Additionally, different antenna heights are considered.
