Abstract
In this paper, the improved small-signal model, which is derived from the improved averaged model, of the PI controlled Boost converter is established and analyzed. From the theoretical analysis, it is found that it is effective to use the improved small-signal model to analyze the important influence of the switching frequency on the performance of the PI controlled Boost converter. Finally, the conclusions are confirmed by the simulation results from the PSIM.
