Abstract :
The Class E rectifier using thinned-out method has advantages of high efficiency at low output voltage, ZCS and ZVS which reduce the switching losses in high frequency operation, constant frequency control of the output power and independent regulation of multiple outputs. Furthermore the control circuit can be made only from a digital circuit. However, this rectifier has a problem of low frequency perturbations. In this paper, detailed analysis of the Class E rectifier using thinned-out method is presented and spectrum of the thinned-out diode voltage waveform is calculated and experimentally verified
