Abstract :
The analog bipolar-JFET Master Slice Array (MSA) has been designed to implement multichannel ICs used in front-end and common-use electronics as well. Functionally complicated ICs can be designed on the basis of this MSA due to the universal construction of the MSA´s active and passive elements. The high quality of active element parameters, number and values of resistors and capacitors make it possible to embody a four channel amplifier-filter-discriminator into the MSA die with dimensions 2.7 mm×3.6 mm. Joining of two chips by metal interconnections on a wafer makes it possible to produce an eight channel IC of similar function.
