Abstract
Tellegen obtained the most universal of the known proofs of a conservation law of energy in electrical circuits. However it assumed that the circuits were a connection of two-terminal 2-T networks. But almost always there are multi-terminal components in modern communication circuits. Here we consider the most general proof of a conservation law of energy in electrical circuits in which multi-terminal components also occur.
