Abstract :
In this paper, a simulation technique is presented to confirm the operation of a suggested structure for the second order comb filter which is used for different applications, such as telecommunications, control systems, bioelectronics, etc. Two types of structure are investigated from mathematical analysis which describes their operation in the time and frequency domains. The suggested structure has been simulated through an appropriate computer program to achieve the desired frequency response. This structure is based on delta modulation (DM) as analog to digital conversion (ADC) for a continuous input signal. DM gives this filter low cost, simplicity, and real time processing. The properties of this filter are obtained by mean squared error (MSE) calculations.
