Abstract
Along with the development of globalization, cyberization, and integration of economics, e-government has become the goal and focus of many countries in the world. It has become the central part of construction of informatization for every country. E-government is an important criteria for the efficiency of a government. This paper firstly reviewed the development and characteristics of e-government, and then discussed the contents of innovation from five aspects of management, i.e. conceptions, systems, functions, structures, and models. This study further proposed the ensuring measures that can improve innovation of the government.
