  • Abstract
The ultra-wideband interference resistant system for secure radio communication with high data rate is considered. In such a system, information is transmitted by a sequence of short pulses with duration about 1 ns. The pulse repetition frequency (information rate) is from one to ten megabits per a second. Modulation is performed by using pulse switching on and off (ON-OFF Keying). Signal detection is carried out by gating the received pulses; the method provides high interference immunity of the system. The gating interval (the time window) has a duration of the pulse length. The operation of the receiver and transmitter is synchronized. The system operation security is provided with low average radiated power. The hardware realization of the system is offered.
