Abstract
Face authentication using orthogonal transform signs is presented. The nature of the real orthogonal transform sign is utilized here. Employed transforms are typical and well known ones, ie., DCT, Walsh-Hadamard, Karhunen-Loeve transform and binarized Fourier transform. The face authentication is done by making a very simple and short binary sequence which is called have "bar-code". The presented method is quite new in contrast with the traditional one. The simulation example shows that it is one of the simplest and the smallest memory authentication of a face
