Managing suppliers reliability programs

For many engineering companies, a substantial proportion of the finished product consists of components produced by suppliers. Any effective reliability program must therefore include a means of assuring supplier reliability. The purpose of this paper is to provide attendees “lessons-learned” that made the difference in ensuring the supplier´s reliability program was defined based upon the integrated needs, objectives, and resources specified in the overall reliability program plan.
