Abstract
Seawater intrusion is a natural disaster, can cause significant influence on production and daily life of people in coastal regions, it impede economic development of coastal areas. In this paper, system dynamics method (SD) is applied to analyze the influence factors and their causality of seawater intuition. The factors of seawater intrusion are divided into two sub-systems: the natural and human activities. The use of water resource is determined as main line of this study and the scheme of the influence factors´ causality are built around this main line. Water resource exploitation affected by water consumption of human beings, as well as the amount of treated water supply, it further act on seawater intrusion. This study lay the foundation for the quantitative research by the system dynamics method.
