Abstract :
An optimal design approach is developed for permanent magnet motors. First, parameterized design model is built. Second the significant shape parameters are identified using the Fisher test of ANOVA. Finally, an optimal design loop, delivering as final output optimized geometries of Permanent Magnet motors, is implemented.
