Abstract :
The utilization of simple network management protocol(SNMP) in sluice and pumping station control system is presented in this paper. Firstly SNMP is introduced briefly, then the method of designing and implementing SNMP sluice and pumping station control system based on Windows and Linux platform used SNMP++ and Net-SNMP API is presented in details. This control system could monitor and control the running status of the sluices and pumping stations in this system, and inform the administrator of emergency so that the fault can be handled in time.
