Abstract
Serious nuclear accident releases radioactive 131I and causes a drop ash pollution. In order to detect radioactive substances and measure its features as concentration, energy etc. quickly, we design a kind of beta rays detector, which is based on inorganic scintillation Zn S (Ag) light-emitting principle. Use Beijing CR124 photomultiplier tubes for change device. Detect the standard samples. This instrument is simple and reliable, the result is linearly related with the semiconductor detectors.
