  • Abstract
The paper presented a simple and reliable real-time ECG signals detection method which was named Derivative Windows Algorithm (DWA). Firstly, the algorithm detects QRS wave group by method of baseline-opposite amplitude-derivative, then detects TP wave by method of mean-variance-window. And finally, we simulated DWA algorithm in Matlab and performed the algorithm in ARM7TDMI-S subsequently according to the clinical collected ECG signals and 48 groups of ECG signals from MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database. The results show that the accuracy rate was as high as 99.98%. The algorithm implemented real-time analysis of ECG. The results also testified feasibility and reliability of the algorithm. At last, we drew the conclusion that DWA can pick up and identify main characteristic parameters of ECG, so it can perform rapid and exact diagnosis and is easily applied in the portable system.
