Abstract
Based on literature review, influencing factors model of sourcing in China is constructed, and 14 hypotheses are put forward. 109 companies are surveyed and efficient data is analyzed using multiple regression method. The results from our survey show that asset specificity and cost have significantly negative influence on the extent of sourcing in China; entry mode, policies, exchange rate, tariff and non-tariff trade barriers, China´s attractiveness as a market and potential of supply market have a significant impact on the extent of sourcing in China; other factors are not notable. And the result is explained at last.
