Abstract
This paper deals with the study of rotor turbogenerator static eccentricities using air gap flux sensors. A method was developed in previous works but only considered no load operating using analytical approach and magnetostatic FEM. The method is extended to operating at load while taking into account eddy currents in the damper bars. FEM simulations are carried out and the results are compared to measurements done on a test machine, under no load and load conditions. This shows the good reliability of the method.
