Abstract
The performance of electronic equipment is determined by the distribution of electromagnetic power in the equipment. This depends on the location and electrical parameters of the sources of power and the physical configuration and material properties of the equipment. The true distribution of power often deviates from that intended in the design, and this deviation increases with frequency. FACET is a CAE tool which predicts the true power distribution. The author describes a graphical post-processing option in FACET which allows this distribution to be observed
