Abstract :
The design of a simple and compact broadband annular-ring slot circular polarized, slotted ground plane antenna, is presented. The antenna is fed by a single microstrip line place beneath the substrate. The circular polarized pattern has been achieved through the perturbation of the ring slots and proper optimization of the asymmetry stubs and the slotted ground plane. A better impedance bandwidth of about 1.23 GHz is achieved while the 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 984 MHz is obtained.
